Cashed a check and went to Sears on Geary Blvd. for towels, dishes and everything else needed for a new place.
Like the lady who waited on me. Not hard on the eyes and she knew everything needed to set up a place. Almost like Mom helping me out. I miss her. Did I really write that?
Bought a tri-pod mounted telescope for the bay window. To the west: Twin Peaks, the new Sutro Tower, and the old KGO transmitter. To the east, I can see all the way across San Francisco Bay to Berkeley.
Wanted to call my girlfriend Erica to help me christen the place while checking out the city in front of a roaring fire.
But I don’t have a phone. Closest pay phone is at the shopping center a couple blocks away. The place is a mess right now, anyway.
Wonder what adventures this place has in store for me. And how long I’ll live here?
